Some guidelines on submitting your questions

Some guidelines on submitting your questions:

I greatly appreciate the questions that so many of you have submitted. I am sorry it has been so long since I have been able to answer any of them, but I do expect to start again soon. Please understand that I do have many duties and responsibilities, on which lately I have been running behind. However, I really love getting these questions from you. They are not only stimulating, but they help me to understand what key issues are on the hearts of many believers, how our own material is being received and understood, or in some cases misunderstood. Thanks for sending them in, and for your patience.

To help your questions get answered, please consider the following way to submit them:

  1. Include your name, email address, or some way to contact you.

  2. Please keep in mind that I receive thousands of questions. Though it is very encouraging that many believers are so inquisitive, it is impossible for me to answer each one. I therefore am trying to first address those that seem to be the most common with the most people, or seem to be especially relevant to the times.

  3. Some questions that are submitted would require hours of research on my part to answer. I do not have that kind of free time, and will only try to answer those to which I have a ready answer.

  4. Some questions are so long and involved that it would require considerable study just to figure out what the question really is. Please be brief and to the point with questions.

  5. This is a format for sincere questions, so please do not try to use this as a format for sharing your own opinion or position.

  6. The overwhelming majority of questions that we receive are great. However, when the tone of a question is demanding, bitter, etc., at the least I do not take it as being from a source that is mature enough to respond to at this time, and will therefore disregard it.

  7. I receive many questions that are requests for personal counseling. To keep from violating relationships between you and your pastor, spouse, etc., at best I will only be able to answer this type of question with generalizations.

Again, thanks for your patience, and I really do appreciate real questions that are asked sincerely, and do pray to be able to start addressing some again very soon.
