1. Men’s Rally Point Meeting: On Sunday, March 21st at 6pm, all men are invited to a bonfire for a chili and beef stew open fire dinner located near the MSU bunkhouses. This will be a great time to hang out, fellowship, and meet new men. Our different Rally Point opportunities have produced a lot of fruit and are helping our men find practical places to serve and develop new friendships. 2. Prophetic Team Ministry Meeting: On Tuesday, March 23, at 7pm, we will be gathering to activate the Prophetic Teams Ministry. If you have worked on teams, been through the training and would like to participate in the prophetic ministry at MorningStar, you are invited to attend.Leaders will meet at 6:30pm. Join us in the Main Atrium.
3. MorningStar Kids: Please join us on April 4th in the Grand Ballroom, as the MorningStar Kids present, “Tabernacle of Moses.” Tours will also be held Monday, April 5th and Tuesday April 6th 7pm to 9pm. Discovery Village Party Room: MorningStar Kids Discovery Center is pleased to offer all church members use of the Discovery Village Party Room for birthday parties (children 5 years of age and under). 5. MorningStar University: Special Forces Missions team is partnering with CMM (Christ Mandate for Missions) by hosting a 5K Run as an effort to raise funds to help deploy our students to Haiti, to minister in their nation. Please consider participating! The race will start at the MorningStar staff entrance on Saturday April 24th at 9am. 6. ‘Artists of Change’: Please join us for Women in the Kingdom Conference, April 14-17. At this conference, women will be empowered to see themselves as catalysts of change – in their personal lives, communities, and in the larger context of God’s Kingdom. Come and hear how YOU can be part of the creative force that God will use to transform your world! Free Concert April 14th with ‘Girls Out Loud,’ starting at 7pm.
7. Haiti Relief: MorningStar is helping our Haiti Missionary, Pastor Vincent, to reopen his school in Cite Soleil. If you would like to help by donating any of the follow items, please drop them off at the Missions Center located on Main Street. Items needed include desks, a copy machine, notebook paper, pencils, markers, chalkboards, white boards, sports equipment, tape recorders, boom boxes, sound boards, amps, musical instruments, summer clothes, hygiene items, toothpaste, etc. For more information contact Jorge Parrott at 803-802-5544, ext. 391.
8. Opening of MorningStar’s Daycare: The Kids Discovery Center daycare is open. Operating hours are 7am-6pm Monday through Friday. Families of children ages 6 weeks to five years old are welcome. Children 6-12 years old may attend the after school program. Contact Lindsay Hussey at 803-547-9667 or mskdc@morningstarministries.org to receive a registration packet and tour of the facility.
9. Visitors: All visitors are invited to join us on Sunday after the 9am and the 11am services for coffee and fellowship at the “Little Theater” lounge on the right side of Main Street. For those new to MorningStar Fellowship Church, please come and someone will answer any questions you many have.
