Missions Cafe Job Descriptions

Prep Cook:  

• Completing all tasks, in order on the list from the Head Chef or other kitchen manager.
• Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruit, vegetables, and meat.
• Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils, cookware etc...

 Line Cook:   

• Prepare food using recipes and menu items created by the head chef and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Prepare food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers etc...
• Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.

  Cashiers:    

• Register food sales using cake software system at cash register and help maintain inventory of supplies.  
• Provide excellent customer service, help resolve customer conflicts, and answer questions adequately.  
• Assist with keeping a clean and presentable front of house at all times during and after shift.
