MorningStar News May 2001

Last month we held another Prophetic Ministry & Gifts Conference in Charlotte, which was attended by an overflow crowd of nearly three thousand people. We felt this one continued the trend that we have experienced with each conference going higher than the previous one. More than 85 percent of the people attending had never been to a MorningStar Conference before. However, we may have never had a more hungry, open, and yet mature and discerning group.

The conferences are not just devoted to teaching and demonstrating the prophetic gifts, but also to stirring the gifts within those attending. Our primary goal is for every one who attends to leave knowing the Lord’s voice much better. The initial reports we have received from those attending confirmed that this was certainly accomplished, and that everything exceeded their expectations. That is encouraging, but we were only able to cover a small part of the material and ministry that we had August 23-25, 2001 planned. Therefore, we are hosting an Advanced Prophetic Ministry & Gifts Conference on at the same Adam’s Mark Hotel in Charlotte. During this conference, we will do a brief review of the basics, and then proceed to advanced teaching on the gifts of discernment, prophecy, words of knowledge and words of wisdom, the Watchman ministry, interpretation of dreams and visions, judging prophecy, pastoring prophetic people, and how to incorporate prophetic ministry into the local church.

Because our conferences fill up quickly, please register as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. Scheduled speakers are Mike Bickle, Jack Deere, Rick Joyner, Steve Thompson, and others.
